Millis gets the eleventh chapter - He awakes from consciousness (Ragering is always followed by a black-out) in prison; Patyra is no where to be seen. Despite his sorrow, he knows he has one move to make, and it's to escape before he's executed for killing Emperor Jeon.
(Having talked to many of my fellow male authors, I was able to find some aspects that would make a break-out both gripping and still realistic. More are still welcome. :) *hint hint nudge nudge headnod headnod*)
Millis is successful with his escapades, and he makes it to Excellia by plane.
Millis gets the twelfth chapter - Back in Excellia, Millis is forced to face a good bit of his imbalance; he's accustomed to knowing what to do next, but for the first time, he feels completely incapable, especially when he catches word of Syne and Patrya's marriage via media.
Luckily for him, there's already a burning rebellion against Syne, one started by none other than Pleibea herself. His next step set out for him, Millis forces himself to swallow his pride and find the rebel base. Once there, he attempts to convince Pleibea to crash the wedding. She sees no reason to agree (despite the fact that Millis showcases Patrya's excellence in strategy and her agile mind) until Millis mentions the fact that there will be many bigwigs present at the ceremony.
Pleibea seems to be interested in only one - a woman named Vivalee.
Pleibea gets the thirteenth chapter - So...remember that Pleibea has a complicated family history? Welllll...
Flashback time! :)
Once upon a time, Rayz, a rich, flashy, Ironman-esque character, had a love relationship with the world's sole name in fashion - Vivalee, a rich, flashy, Cinna-minus-the-kindness-esque character. The two lived happily for a while, having two children, Jesse and Pleibea, before (...like near all couples who don't know God...) they realized they couldn't live together peacefully. Before the divorce, the question arose as to what was to be done with their two children (Jesse was 12 at the time, Pleibea was 7). Neither parent wanted the responsibility, and the couple decided to put their children in a slave camp, completely disowning them.
All right.
Back to the story.
Pleibea's mad; she still holds a grudge against her parents. Rayz had died not long after the divorce (not sure how yet...any suggestions?), but Vivalee is still productive and famous and rich as chocolate.
For the wedding, Pleibea sets out three teams, the strongest with Millis to claim Patrya, the second as a contingency team, the last consisting of her and Jesse to set things straight with their mother. The siblings approach their mother alone, realize that she cannot be pardoned, and take their leave, knowing that guilt will be enough of a punishment.
All right...getting close to the end. I have about five more chapters after this...
Hehe, you never realize how long and detailed stories are until you try to give a good synopsis to someone. :D
Write on!

I like how you used "Ironman-esque" as an adjective. :) That gives a very specific idea of that person in my mind.
ReplyDeleteHehehe, thank you. Another author who uses adjectives like "Ironman-esque" is Rick Riordan; I picked up my trait from him. :)
